How can I make a deposit or withdrawal?

Where can I find my deposit address?

If you would like to make a deposit to your SMART VALOR wallet, you need to navigate to the “My Wallet“ section of the exchange. This can be found in the sidebar on any page of the exchange.

Once you are here, switch to the Fiat Currencies page. Please select the desired currency and then click on the “Deposit“ button at the top right of the Currency overview.

 

A screen will pop up asking you to provide the amount you would like to deposit into your account. Once you have entered this amount, the screen will move on to the next section, which shows you the deposit information. These look something like this:

Once you have made the deposit, you can click on the “Done“ button to close the screen. The deposit will be listed under your account as “Pending”. Once the deposited funds reach your account, the transaction will be completed and the funds will be made available.

 

What should I keep in mind when making a deposit?

When making a fiat deposit, please make sure that you always create the deposit request from the exchange first, before sending the funds.

When sending the funds, please make sure that the amount and reference code match with the pending transaction on your account to ensure the quickest possible processing.

Be mindful of your deposit limits, if your deposit exceeds your daily limit, the system will not allow you to complete the deposit reservation. If you send the funds still, they will arrive, but it might take longer for them to reach your account.


Withdrawals

 

How can I set up a withdrawal?

If you would like to make a withdrawal from your SMART VALOR account to a bank account, you need to navigate to the “My Wallet“ section of the exchange. This can be found in the sidebar on any page of the exchange.

Once you are here, switch to the Fiat Currencies page. Please select the desired currency and then click on the arrow pointing down button and then “Withdraw” at the top right of the Currency overview.

Once you have selected the desired amount and entered the correct bank data you would like to send the funds to, you can click the “Withdraw” button to send the funds. The withdrawal will reach the destination account as soon as it is processed.

 

What should I keep in mind when making a withdrawal?

When you make a withdrawal to another account, please make sure to always use the correct bank data for the currency you are withdrawing.

Be mindful of your withdrawal limits, if your withdrawal exceeds your daily or yearly withdrawal limit the transaction will not be processed. In such cases, you would have to either wait until your limits reset, or upgrade to a higher verification level.

What are my deposit and withdrawal limits?

Depositing and withdrawing funds on your SMART VALOR account are subject to limits based on your investment level. These are separated into daily and yearly deposit limits which represent the total value of funds you can deposit or withdraw in a given period. The value is calculated in your preferred base currency and can be seen in your dashboard under the verification level section.

Are there any fees for making fiat deposits and withdrawals?

Deposits

While we do not charge you for depositing funds into your account, there might still be some expenses involved in depositing fiat currencies on the SMART VALOR platform.

 

Interbank fees

Depending on the way your bank processes payments in the currency you are sending, there may be some fees involved in the processing of the transaction. This fee is usually charged by intermediary banks that are processing your transaction.

 

Withdrawal fees of your bank/financial provider

When you deposit fiat on the SMART VALOR platform from another account provider, they may charge you a fee for the transaction.

We recommend familiarizing yourself with the fee structure of the other platforms you’re using to send us funds.


Withdrawals

Withdrawals to an external bank account require specific fee amounts in order for the transaction to be processed. These fees are paid out to our processing partners to ensure the fastest processing of your transaction. When withdrawing funds, the withdrawal form will provide information on the amount of the fee. Below is a table that contains all fees for every currency you can withdraw.

Fiat transactions processing times

Fiat deposits

Fiat deposits via bank transfers usually take up to 1-2 business days. When you request the transfer, your funds are immediately debited from your bank account, but they will only be transferred to your wallet as SMART VALOR Vouchers after the payment lands from your bank to our bank account.

 

Fiat withdrawals

All buys and sells from your SMART VALOR wallet are processed instantly. Withdrawals by wire transfer should complete within 1-2 business days.

What are SMART VALOR Vouchers?

On the SMART VALOR platform, clients can trade digital assets and can also exchange them into fiat currency. SMART VALOR is not permitted to hold fiat client funds. To use the exchange services of SMART VALOR, clients can also buy “SMART VALOR Vouchers”.

 

Under the SMART VALOR Voucher system, CHF, USD, SEK, Euro and GBP balances can be exchanged for SMART VALOR Vouchers, which can only be used for exchange services on the platform. For example, if a client purchases 100 "CHF SMART VALOR Vouchers", this represents a contractual claim in the equivalent of CHF 100 against SMART VALOR for exchange services. The funds we receive from the sale of SMART VALOR Vouchers are held in a separate SMART VALOR bank account and are only used to redeem SMART VALOR Vouchers, i.e. to buy and sell digital assets for our clients.

 

Clients do not have any contractual right to redeem the monetary value of the purchase price of the SMART VALOR Vouchers.

 

Clients can exchange their SMART VALOR Vouchers for digital assets (e.g. Stablecoin), subsequently request the exchange of the digital assets for fiat and simultaneously the transfer of the proceeds from the exchange to their bank account.
