At SMART VALOR, we are committed to keeping our fees clear and transparent. Fees may apply depending on the type of transaction you make, including crypto purchases, crypto-to-crypto trades, fiat deposits for buy orders, fiat withdrawals after crypto sales and crypto deposits / withdrawals.
Where applicable, the relevant fee will be displayed before you confirm a transaction, so you can review the cost in advance.

Fiat-to-crypto trading fees
When purchasing or selling cryptocurrencies on SMART VALOR, a service fee is charged for processing your transaction. This fee helps cover the costs associated with completing the purchase and applies regardless of the payment method you choose.
Service fees are always calculated in SMART VALOR’s base currency, Swiss francs - CHF.

Crypto-to-crypto trading fees
When trading cryptocurrencies on the SMART VALOR exchange, a trading fee applies to executed orders.

Discount on fees
You can use VALOR to pay eligible trading fees directly on the SMART VALOR platform and receive a 30% fee reduction when doing so. For fee payments, VALOR is accepted at a transparent and fixed reference rate of CHF 0.60 per token.
Please note that the VALOR Token does not represent any share, security, debt instrument, or investment product, and does not grant any ownership, voting, repayment, redemption, profit participation, or similar rights against Smart Valor AG.
Fiat deposits (for buy orders)
SMART VALOR does not offer a general fiat wallet or fiat deposits.
To buy crypto with EUR or CHF, simply place your buy order first. You will then receive payment instructions. Once we receive your payment, we will complete your purchase.
SMART VALOR does not charge a fee for receiving your payment. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own fees.

Fiat withdrawals (after crypto sales)
When you sell crypto, the proceeds are paid directly to your verified bank account. SMART VALOR does not hold fiat balances on the platform.
The applicable withdrawal fee is shown before you confirm the transaction.

Staking
SMART VALOR charges a 20% service fee on gross ETH staking rewards. The fee is deducted from staking rewards earned and does not apply to the staked principal. The fee contributes to the costs associated with providing staking services, including validator operations and custody.
